The Hanmer Springs Reserve offers seven outdoor thermal pools, a freshwater lane swimming pool, and freshwater pool for the little ones. Also on site are four private thermal pools and Scandinavian sauna and steam facilities complete with their own shower and plunge pool. Photo, a hot oasis even in Winter!
All thermal pools are a variety of temperatures ranging from approximately 35-40 degree Celsius. The thermal water contains a wide variety of minerals including sulphur, sodium chloride, calcium, carbonates, magnesium, potassium and others.
The New Zealand native landscaped gardens surround and blend with our Alpine environment.
Centre owner Eileen has a Physiotherapy Post Graduate Certificate in Hydrotherapy and is able to offer a wide range of treatments especially for those who want to use the thermal waters to their full potential.
