Black Water Rafting

Black Water Rafting is a three hour trip which involves a combination of walking and floating on an inner tube through a unique underground river system. The tour also provides a spectacular display of glowworms. Hot soup and bagels await your return to Black Water Cafe

Waitomo Adventures

The Trip into Lost World is surprisingly gentle. Abseilers slowly descend the massive 300 ft shaft, completely in control of their own descent. After the 15 minute decent, you embark on a journey back to the surface through the massive vaults of the Lost World. The Duration for this tour is 4 hours.

"I whispered something incoherent to the guide about my weight. He grinned and told me a man of 71 had successfully completed the course, as had a giant who weighed more than 160kg. I wasn´t the oldest and the fattest person to embark on this trip. I was just the scardest"
